Abhishek Pathak’s Drishyam The Conclusion has turned its first working day into a milestone. On Monday, the final chapter in the Hindi Drishyam franchise collected Rs 21 crore net across 16,274 shows, according to trade website Sacnilk. That takes the film’s four-day India total to Rs 197.50 crore, leaving it only Rs 2.50 crore short of the Rs 200 crore mark. It is the strongest early signal yet that the franchise finale will have a long theatrical run.
Ajay Devgn’s biggest Monday
The Monday number is now Ajay Devgn’s highest ever, moving ahead of Singham Again. That matters because the first Monday is the moment a film stops relying on opening-weekend advance bookings and starts proving it has word of mouth.
- Day 4 Monday: Rs 21 crore net
- Opening weekend: Rs 176.50 crore
- Four-day India total: Rs 197.50 crore
- Gap to Rs 200 crore: Rs 2.50 crore
A drop from Sunday’s Rs 61 crore was always likely after the weekend rush. What stands out is the floor: a personal-best Monday for Ajay Devgn suggests the film is holding beyond the fan base.
The franchise close
Drishyam The Conclusion brings Ajay Devgn and Tabu back as Vijay Salgaonkar and Meera Deshmukh. The ensemble also includes Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat as SP Tomar, Prakash Raj, Kamlesh Sawant, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav. Abhishek Pathak directs from a script by Pathak, Aamil Keeyan Khan and Parveez Shaikh.
The franchise has always relied on one question: how far will Vijay Salgaonkar go to protect his family? That promise is central to the word-of-mouth engine now showing up in the box office.
Bollywood Bubble’s review made the pitch directly:
“Seeing is believing and you need to see Drishyam The Conclusion to believe the lengths Ajay Devgn’s Vijay Salgaonkar will go to for his family.”
What comes next
Presented by Star Studio18 and produced by Panorama Studios, the film opened on Friday, October 2. With Rs 200 crore now within reach, the next test is the rest of the week. If Tuesday and Wednesday hold, the final total could stretch well beyond the milestone. For fans planning to watch, the run is still busy enough to book ahead.
