A behind-the-scenes post from a child actor has put Aishwarya Rai Bachchan back in the celebrity conversation—this time for a luxury hotel campaign rather than a film announcement.

Namah Singh Deewana, who appears with Aishwarya in JW Marriott’s new “Stay in the Moment” ad, shared pictures and videos from the shoot on Tuesday. One frame shows him and his mother taking a selfie with the actor. His caption reads like a fan note and a co-star tribute rolled into one. “She is the embodiment of love, kindness, and grace,” he wrote.

A dream day on set

Namah described meeting Aishwarya as a “magical and unforgettable experience” and one of the best days of his life. He added that he still cannot believe he shared the screen with someone millions dream of meeting.

This is not the child actor’s first brush with star power. Before this campaign, he had appeared in advertisements with Virat Kohli and Amitabh Bachchan.

The campaign behind the pictures

Aishwarya was named JW Marriott’s global ambassador in June, and the new campaign is built around the idea of slowing down and being present. Shot at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, the film opens with a question: “What makes a moment a moment?”

It follows Aishwarya through quiet, intimate scenes—a shared meal, a toast, discovering something new, and joining a wedding celebration. The film lands on the thought that a moment becomes a moment when you stay in it.

Here is what the campaign packs into a short brand film:

  • Brand: JW Marriott
  • Face: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, global ambassador since June
  • Location: JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu
  • Mood: slowing down, reconnecting, staying present

Why this matters for Aishwarya watchers

Aishwarya is in a distinctive phase: visible in premium brand work, quieter on the film front. She recently closed the L’Oréal Paris Le Défilé show at Paris Fashion Week on September 28, walking against the Eiffel Tower backdrop in a black velvet gown and embellished cape. Her red hair became one of the most discussed details of the evening.

On the big screen, her last release was Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan II, which collected ₹344.63 crore worldwide. No new film has been announced yet, which makes each campaign appearance a small news event for fans.

What to take from the moment

The BTS pictures land at a useful moment. For celebrity-watchers, they are a reminder that brand campaigns now do heavy lifting for star visibility between films. For marketers, the campaign is a clean example of selling a feeling rather than a room category. The product is present, but the story is about attention, connection and slowing down.

A young co-star’s tribute adds a human, off-camera layer to a campaign that is already about intimacy. It is the kind of content that makes a brand film feel less like an ad and more like a shared memory.
