Jacqueline Fernandez is opening her wardrobe for a cause. The actor and philanthropist has launched a charity closet sale through her YOLO Foundation on DolceVee, turning red carpet looks, tour outfits and accessories into funds for animal welfare.
The sale marks a new chapter for the foundation. Instead of relying on appeals alone, it uses resale pieces to raise money for Raksha Foundation, which will use the proceeds to support the sterilisation of indie dogs and cats.
What’s actually in the sale
The collection is broader than a few gowns. It ranges from red carpet couture and performance looks to high street fashion, athleisure and limited-edition accessories. Prices have been curated at accessible levels, so the sale includes both budget buys and statement pieces.

Why Jacqueline says it feels personal
Jacqueline has been public about the emotional weight of the clear-out. “I’ve always felt that clothes carry a little piece of the moments we’ve lived in them,” she said. Letting go of pieces is personal, but the cause gives the sale a purpose beyond decluttering.
She added that YOLO wants to make giving accessible and to connect broadly. The fundraiser is designed so a fan’s purchase translates directly into animal care.
The environmental numbers behind the rack
DolceVee has quantified the impact of choosing pre-owned pieces over newly manufactured clothing. The collection is estimated to save more than 850 kg of carbon and 6,40,000 litres of water, according to the Dolce Vee Clothing Environmental Footprint Calculator built with the Centre for Environmental Research & Education.
That gives buyers a number to look at: a wardrobe’s second life becomes a measurable saving, not just a feel-good idea.
How to shop the cause
The sale is open worldwide on DolceVee. Founder Komal Hiranandani said fans have been asking for a Jacqueline closet sale for years and described the collection as expansive and exquisite.
Raksha Foundation, the beneficiary, said it was incredibly grateful and hopes the idea will inspire more people to see how everyday choices create positive impact. Every purchase, the organisers say, counts.
