Vidyut Jammwal’s worried video after the shooting incident involving Tiger Shroff has now become an internet joke — and the actor appears to be enjoying it. Days after the original message, an AI-generated clip imagined Barcelona coach Hansi Flick repeating those same lines in a post-match dressing-room scene.
From safety warning to football meme
The video was shared by Instagram page The Football Pod with the caption “Hansi Flick post-match team talk.” It landed after Real Madrid beat Barcelona 2-1 in El Clasico at Spotify Camp Nou on October 25. Kylian Mbappe scored for Madrid, while Raphinha scored Barcelona’s only goal.
The clip used AI to put Vidyut’s words into Flick’s mouth. In the original video, Vidyut had asked why no one among the fans chased the attackers, and had used the line about being someone’s “biggest fan.” Vidyut reacted to the meme with a laughing comment: “Hahahahahha.”
Fans were just as entertained. One called it the “best use of AI.” Another wrote that the reel made them laugh while they were crying. A few joked that Vidyut had joined the same viral list as Ravi Kishan.
The serious backstory
The meme started from a grave incident. Last week, three gunmen opened fire at Tiger Shroff’s vehicle as he returned home from a football match. Tiger escaped with minor abrasions, while his driver and a bystander suffered bullet wounds and were hospitalised. Reports said Tiger drove the vehicle away himself after his driver was hurt.
Vidyut called Tiger the most fearless man he knew, questioned the security setup, and urged him to keep listening to the Bajrang Baan. He also asked Mumbai Police to ensure such incidents don’t happen again.
Why the reaction matters
This is a familiar internet loop now: a sincere celebrity statement gets parodied, creators place it in a new context, and the response from the original speaker decides the tone. By laughing along, Vidyut kept the moment from turning sour.
The reminder is useful for anyone in the public eye:
- Laugh first when a harmless remix starts circulating — it shortens the news cycle.
- Keep the original point alive without fighting the comedy.
- Don’t let the meme erase the underlying concern. Here, the safety question still stands.
Vidyut has other reasons to stay in the spotlight. He recently made his Hollywood debut as Dhalsim in Kitao Sakurai’s martial arts film Street Fighter, based on the Capcom game series.
