Mumbai: Actor Renuka Shahane has described the firing incident involving Tiger Shroff as “truly terrifying,” and said she is grateful the actor was not hurt. Speaking to ANI, she said Shroff was simply “living his ordinary life” when the attack happened.
Her reaction came after several Bollywood figures spoke up following Sunday’s incident in Juhu. Shahane tied her remarks to Dussehra, saying those who use intimidation or weapons “must absolutely be destroyed.”
What happened in Juhu
The incident took place as Shroff was leaving a football club in his car, with his driver at the wheel. Three assailants reportedly approached the vehicle and opened fire. The driver was injured, and Shroff took the wheel and drove away from the spot.
Mumbai Police later arrested three suspects in Kota, Rajasthan. Delhi Police separately arrested four people, including two women, in connection with the firing.
Recovery updates
The first photos showed Shroff with bandages when he met Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. By Tuesday, Maharashtra minister Ashish Shelar shared newer pictures in which the actor appeared without bandages.
Shelar wrote that he visited Shroff to check on him and wished him “strength and a speedy recovery.”
Security ripple effect
The attack has widened a conversation about celebrity protection. Reports suggest security has been increased around Salman Khan, while Akshay Kumar’s home may get a bulletproof glass shield amid safety concerns.

Why fans are watching closely
For our readers, the pictures and the official reactions are the fastest way to separate confirmed updates from speculation. The visual shift from bandages to no bandages has become a recovery marker, while the arrests give the story a law-enforcement trail to follow.
The case is now being watched less as a single crime report and more as a signal for how Bollywood handles star security going forward.
