Tiger Shroff Firing: 3 Arrested, Sharad Kelkar Says Actor Safe

Mumbai Police have arrested three men in connection with shots fired at Tiger Shroff outside a football club in Mumbai on Sunday. The actor escaped unharmed but sustained gunpowder burns on his right hand. In a new statement, actor Sharad Kelkar has offered an update: he has spoken to Tiger and says the actor is doing fine.

Sharad Kelkar’s reassurance

Speaking to ANI, Kelkar framed the incident as more than a celebrity story. He said there should never be “this kind of anarchy in the country” and backed the Mumbai Police, saying “everyone has been caught”.

Kelkar also confirmed he had spoken to Tiger and sent a message to Jackie Shroff. His message for fans was simple: the actor is safe.

The arrests, in one frame

  • What happened: Shots were fired at Tiger Shroff as he left a football club in Mumbai on Sunday.
  • His condition: He escaped unhurt but had gunpowder burns on his right hand.
  • The arrests: Three men were held in Kota, Rajasthan, on Monday from the general coach of the Pune-Jaipur Superfast Express.
  • The accused: Police named Hritik alias Roshan from Begusarai, Bihar, Rehan from Sonipat, Haryana, and a third associate.
  • The probe: Officers are examining a possible Lawrence Bishnoi gang link.

Why industry voices are speaking up

Vidyut Jammwal called Tiger “the most fearless person” and told Mumbai Police that a security lapse like this must never happen again. Other names, including Ram Gopal Varma and Rahul Dholakia, also reacted.

The concern goes beyond one actor. It is about a visible security failure around a celebrity who already had protection. That is the point Vidyut made: if a lapse occurs, the security team must own it.

That explains why the industry response has been protective rather than purely personal. Kelkar focused on law and order; Vidyut focused on accountability. Neither treated this as a routine paparazzi moment.

What fans should do now

Details are still developing, especially around motive. Kelkar’s statement gives the most useful reassurance: Tiger is safe, and the suspects are in custody. The responsible move for fans is to avoid amplifying unverified clips and wait for Mumbai Police to confirm the motive.

Security scares travel faster than facts, and the impulse is to fill the gap with speculation. In this case, the knowns are enough: the actor is safe, the accused are in custody, and the motive is under investigation.

That patience matters because the gang link is still a line of investigation, not a confirmed conclusion.
