Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has moved from a strong opening to a legitimate milestone. After its second Monday, the Ajay Devgn-led thriller has a worldwide gross of ₹489.74 crore, sitting just over ₹10 crore away from the ₹500-crore mark. The same number makes it the highest-grossing film of Ajay Devgn’s career.
A sharp Monday drop, but a stable picture
The film collected ₹6.25 crore net in India on its second Monday across 13,605 shows. That is a fall of almost 72% from Sunday’s ₹22.50 crore, but the correction came after a bumper second weekend: ₹14 crore on Friday, ₹26.50 crore on Saturday and ₹22.50 crore on Sunday. The Monday figure pushed India net to ₹315.25 crore and India gross to ₹378.24 crore.
For context, the first week had already set the pace with ₹245.50 crore in India net. An overseas Monday of ₹2.50 crore took the international gross to ₹111.50 crore, keeping the film firmly in the ₹500-crore conversation.
The numbers at a glance
- Worldwide gross after second Monday: ₹489.74 crore
- India net total: ₹315.25 crore
- India gross total: ₹378.24 crore
- Overseas gross total: ₹111.50 crore

Ajay Devgn’s career-best
By crossing Singham Again, with about ₹372.5 crore, and Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, with about ₹368.75 crore, Drishyam 3 becomes Ajay Devgn’s biggest worldwide grosser. That is significant for the franchise and the actor: it gives the third film bragging rights as a rare sequel that ended louder than it started.
Mohanlal’s approval adds to the buzz
Comparisons with Mohanlal’s original Malayalam Drishyam were bound to follow. Mohanlal added goodwill when he shared a video about the Hindi film. He said he watched it and was “truly impressed” with how the team brought the much loved journey to “a befitting end,” congratulating director Abhishek Pathak, producer Kumar Mangat Pathak, Ajay Devgn and the cast and crew. Ajay reposted the clip and thanked the veteran actor.
What to watch next
The Tuesday and Wednesday collections will show whether the film stabilises after the post-festival dip. With ₹489.74 crore already banked, the ₹500-crore mark is now a matter of days rather than a question mark. For viewers, the bigger appeal remains the film itself: a third and final chapter built on tension, family and a secret that refuses to stay buried.
