SK27 has found its sound. The upcoming Sivakarthikeyan starrer has locked Sai Abhyankkar as its composer, the team announced on social media. The announcement confirms that Abhyankkar will handle both the songs and the background score for the tentatively titled film, making this his first full composer collaboration with the actor.
The makers kept the reveal compact, writing:

That social line places Abhyankkar at the centre of the film’s identity early, rather than waiting for the credits.

SK27 is billed as an action entertainer set against a gritty backdrop. Kayadu Lohar plays the co-lead, and Ramkumar Balakrishnan directs after his previous film Parking, which starred Harish Kalyan and MS Bhaskar. Sudhakar of Parithabangal fame and George Maryan are also in key roles.
Sivakarthikeyan has shot the film’s opening action sequence and is currently filming a song. With the music team now confirmed, the production has both its stunt scale and its sound in place.
